Angus is part of the Investment Team with a focus on managing and advising on core private equity investments. A metals and mining specialist, he provides strong financial expertise in identifying and analysing investment opportunities complemented by unique insight into technical areas through his on-site industry experience.

In recent years, he has focused on identifying opportunities in the new energy / battery metals space which was a key factor in his decision to join industry leader Pala.

Prior to joining Pala, Angus was a Manager, Asset Valuations, at Palaris Europe, a London-based mining advisory firm that specialises as an Independent Technical Engineer to investment banks and private equity funds. In this role he advised on two multi-billion-dollar Project Finance deals for IFC (World Bank), as well as numerous assignments for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Angus is a CFA Charterholder with a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Newcastle.
