Raimundo is a member of the Investment Team focused on private equity and structured finance. In his role he supports the execution of new investments, and provides financial and strategic advice to portfolio companies.

Before joining Pala, Raimundo worked in strategy and development at BHP’s mineral exploration division, managing partnerships for early-stage projects across the globe, including BHP’s $85m investment in SolGold.

Prior to BHP, Raimundo was on the M&A team at investment bank Asset Chile where he led several transactions in natural resources, energy and infrastructure in Latin America. He started his career as a mineral economics consultant at GEM, advising on large-scale mining projects throughout Chile.

Raimundo holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering (summa cum laude) from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
