Rainer joined Pala Investments in 2022 as an Investment Associate on the core investment team. His responsibilities span the investment cycle, from opportunity sourcing and due diligence to portfolio company reviews and exit strategy.

Before joining Pala, Rainer was an Investment Banking Analyst at Evercore in London where he advised on large-cap M&A, debt and equity capital market transactions across the TMT and Infrastructure sectors. He also held previous roles in M&A Corporate Finance at PwC Switzerland and Trade Finance at Louis Dreyfus Company.

Rainer holds a MA in Accounting and Finance from the University of St. Gallen and a BA in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich.
