Maxime is a Research Analyst at Pala Investments, specializing in the energy and agricultural markets. He focuses on fundamental commodity pricing, leveraging supply/demand dynamics and production cost curve analysis to identify structural market trends.

Prior to joining Pala, Maxime was a Co-Fund Manager and Analyst at SMA Gestion, overseeing several long/short commodity funds invested via futures and options. While maintaining generalist coverage, he focused on energy and agriculture. His experience also includes fundamental equity and credit analysis of European resources companies.

Previously, Maxime managed precious metals and multi-asset mandates at Vigifinance, a wealth management firm, and supported base metals hedging at Valeo, a leading automotive supplier.

Maxime is a CFA charterholder and holds an MSc from Neoma Business School, where he is also a guest lecturer.
